Planned Giving -
Life Insurance Policy

If your children are grown and financially independent, one or more of your life insurance policies may now be unnecessary and could make for an exceptional gift to Literacy Partners.

This can be done by simply naming Literacy Partners as the irrevocable beneficiary and assigning Literacy Partners all rights or incidents of ownership.

With this type of gift, the premiums you pay may be deductible as charitable gifts each year. In addition, donating a life insurance policy can provide considerable tax benefits for your estate and makes a significant gift upon your death.
